Banana Muffins:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a 12 - 1/2 cup muffin pan with paper liners.Dry ingredients:combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and choc chips.
Wet ingredients:combine the mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter, sugar, milk and vanilla.
Mix the wet and dry ingredients till combined and let the batter thick and chunky. Do not over mix the batter. Does not matter if the batter not smooth and has lumps.
Fill just half batter into each muffin cups because during baking it will rise.
Optional : You can add nuts on top batter. Before that place the crushed nuts on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or dry roasted in the pan.
Let the muffins bake for about 20 minutes.
you can check if the muffins baked properly with a toothpick. Insert the toothpick in the center and it should comes out clean.
Makes 12-20 regular sized muffins. Place on a wire rack to cool for five minutes and ready for serve.
