Travel to Langkawi Island, Malaysia & Places to visit in Langkawi Island & Best things to do in Langkawi Island & Langkawi Island attractions

Langkawi is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. Langkawi is one of the best options for Honeymoon or anniversary celebrations.

Reaching Langkawi:
By Flight: If you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur, You can reach Langkawi by flight directly to Langkawi International Airport just an hour.
https://booking.airasia.com/

By bus: you can reach Kuala Perlis and from there take a ferry. Kuala Perlis to Langkawi is the shortest and cheapest ferry trip to the island. The boat takes approx. One hour and fifteen minutes.

By train: There is a daily overnight sleeper train every day from KL to Alor Setar and Arau. You can choose to get off at Alor Setar or Arau( if coming from north) for the ferry connection.
From Alor Setar, take a short ride by cheap local bus (15km) or taxi to the ferry port at Kuala Kedah. The boat from Kuala Kedah to Langkawi takes approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes.
From Arau, take a fairly short ride (18km) by taxi to the ferry terminal at Kuala Perlis. From Kuala Perlis, same as mentioned above.

Bus services: Plusliner, Sri Maju, Transnasional, and Konsortium.

Shopping in Langkawi:
I would strongly recommend shopping in Langkawi. Langkawi is a duty-free zone.
Drinks and chocolates are significantly cheaper (almost half) here than in the rest of Malaysia.

Eat in Langkawi:
Seafood
Best place to try out different seafood. Very fresh and yummy. Try King crabs for sure.
There are few pure vegetarian restaurants available in Langkawi.

Travel within Langkawi:
There is no public transport on the island. Best is to use taxis or to rent a car. All taxis run with flat rate for each destination(No bargain! ) In nights, generally double charge.
Fond of Biking? Of course, you can rent bikes too J

Stay:
Staying in chalet type accommodation is very nice. This gives you more privacy. Also, these chalets are all located mostly facing beaches, so you can wander around the beach late in the evening and come back safe to the hotel.

Optional places: DurianPerangin Waterfalls, Kuah City, Underwater world.
Few notable beaches: Cenang Beach(Sunrise/sunset) + Tengah Beach, Datai Bay.

First time travel to Paris & Places to visit in Paris & Best things todo in Paris & Paris attractions

I came to Europe for the first time. I landed in Europe. First thing that I noticed is feel of cool breeze even in Metro stations and Train station. I came in the Month of August, Most pleasant time to travel in Europe. With chirping Birds, blossoming aromatic flowers, fresh Asparagus Spring is always beautiful in any part of the world.

I came to Europe for 7 days. Stayed in Munich for 4 days and Paris 3 days. Let me try to cover Paris in this Blog. I travelled along with my friend. His travel plans are always “More with Less” Concept. He always plans so many places for a single day and he makes sure that we don’t run out of places to see.

In my lifetime, this trip is very special. I can’t ask anything more from this trip: Love, affection, Excitement, Astonishing moments, walking, admiring, food and finally good sleep.

Firstly we took a night bus from Munich to Paris. We reached Paris early in the morning and we straight away went to hotel for check-in. The Hotel was very close Eiffel tower.
