First time travel to Paris & Places to visit in Paris & Best things todo in Paris & Paris attractions


I came to Europe for the first time. I landed in Europe. First thing that I noticed is feel of cool breeze even in Metro stations and Train station. I came in the Month of August, Most pleasant time to travel in Europe. With chirping Birds, blossoming aromatic flowers, fresh Asparagus Spring is always beautiful in any part of the world.

I came to Europe for 7 days. Stayed in Munich for 4 days and Paris 3 days. Let me try to cover Paris in this Blog. I travelled along with my friend. His travel plans are always “More with Less” Concept. He always plans so many places for a single day and he makes sure that we don’t run out of places to see.

In my lifetime, this trip is very special. I can’t ask anything more from this trip: Love, affection, Excitement, Astonishing moments, walking, admiring, food and finally good sleep.

Firstly we took a night bus from Munich to Paris. We reached Paris early in the morning and we straight away went to hotel for check-in. The Hotel was very close Eiffel tower. At around midday, we left the room and we say the real face of Paris: Eiffel tower, Stunning Engineering Marvel of our time.

Prioritized list places to visit in Paris.

1.The Eiffel tower:
Eiffel tower, Stunning Engineering Marvel of our time is amazing to see. City from the top of Eiffel is a mind-blowing experience.
Opening Hours: 9:30 to 23:00
                            9:00 to 0:00 in Summer
                            Best day to visit: July 14th (Bastille Day). Fireworks in the Night. Amazing to watch. Of course Eiffel is always Beautiful and admirable round the year.
Best time to visit: 16:00 or later. Watching sunset from the top of Eiffel is amazing.
Ticket Price: Lift to top – 17Euros for Adults.
Never miss “The Champagne Bar” in the top floor, especially if you are travelling as couples.
In Second floor, there is a pretty expensive restaurant.
If you dint book tickets online, be prepared to stand in queue for at least 1 hour.



2. Notre Dame Cathedral
It’s a notable Cathedral in Paris. It’s an amazing place to visit. Magnificent art works, ceilings and Glass paintings
Opening Hours: 8:00 to 18:45.
 Free to enter.

   

  3. Louvre Museum
One of the world’s largest Museum. Known for its numerous sculptures and paintings. “Mona Lisa” is one of the notable ones.
Opening hours: Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday: from 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Closed on Tuesdays
                                 Ticket Price: 15 Euros
Though it’s crowded near Mona Lisa painting, remember to get your best click there.

   
4. Sacré-Cœur
     The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris is a Roman Catholic Church and minor Basilica. It is  located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city.
Opening hours: 6 a.m. to 10.30 p.m
                        Ticket Price: Free.

      5. Arc de Triomphe de l'ÉtoileArc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, one of the most famous monuments in Paris, stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.

      6. Les Invalides
Les Invalides contains museums and monuments, all relating to the military history of France, as well as a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans.

Shopping in Paris: Rue de Passy. Best place to find Boutiques. You could find everything you thing of buying.

Eat in Paris: Paris is one of Europe's main culinary centers. For Indians or vegetarians, Saravana bhavan is a very good option. Never miss Crepes!

Drink: French wine, I would recommend.

Travel Tickets: Best is to buy Paris City Pass. It is available for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. Metros are very well connected and very frequent.
On the other hand, most of the major sights are in walkable distances, so walking is also a good option.

Stay: Better to stay somewhere near to Eiffel tower. Eiffel Tower’s Night view is amazing.
Do try River cruise, it’s amazing.

Optional Places: Sainte-Chapelle, Pantheon (Church, Burial Place), Luxembourg Garden, Place de l'Étoile and Champs-Elysees - Palais de l'Elysee.
